String Magnet

String magnet is used to collect ferrous metallic debris, which can cause failed completions and plug downhole equipment.

It consists of a recessed magnetic section， containing many individual magnets that attract and capture metallic debris due to strong magnetic forces.

The large carrying capacity of the tool ensures the effective removal of the debris.The tool usually runs close to the bottomhole assembly. Multiple tools can be run in the string to optimize the cleanup operation.
