Two-Way Roller Stabilizer
Two-way roller stabilizer specially designed to decrease the axial friction resistance and the longitudinal rotation resistance in the well. The stabilizer has a two-way roller set. The radial roller which contacts with casing has an extremely low friction coefficient and the rotation coefficient could be as low as 0.04 during cementing. The axial roller contacting with the well wall or outer casing is more protruding than the longitudinal roller, which may reduce the axial friction resistance by 60%.
This tool is usually applied in ERD and horizontal wells. The two-way roller stabilizer enables pipe string to rotate and improve cementing quality.
Features
Reduce torque and axial friction resistance, radial roller contacts casing, and the axial roller contacts wall of the well
Radial torque reduction improves cementing quality effectively
A smaller contact area of the roller reduces pipe stuck in an open hole
The unique design of the roller shaft assures no falling when RIH
