Retrievable ESP Packer

Retrievable Electric Submersible Pump(ESP) packer is used in vertical and deviated wells with ESP completions. The ESP packer incorporates a bypass or pass-through section to provide means for an electric cable to be run through the packer to supply power to the electric submersible pump below the packer. Additional optional ports allow venting of annular pressure, fluid injection through the packer, and/or monitoring instrument passage.

Features

Easily set and released: Hydraulically set, straight-pull shear release mechanism

Compatible with feed-through equipment, additional ports could be configured

Double-grip, caged slips: eliminate the need for hydraulic hold-downs. Top and bottom cones drive slips into casing wall and hold loads from either direction

Equipped with hydraulic anchor, with additional gripping force provided to avoid the risk of sealing failure when a bottom hole pressure surge occurs

Designed and tested in accordance with API 11D1
