Permanent Hydraulic-Set Packer

The permanent type hydraulic packer is usually used in production wells. It is mainly used in high-yield wells where the production string does not need to be pulled out for a long time. Packer is set in place by two-way slips which can withstand two-way differential pressures. If workover is necessary later, the slips of the packer can be drilled out by a milling tool and then the packer can be fished out.
